There's a lot of controversy about the Olympics coming to town. Spending copious amounts of money, inconvenience for locals in terms of road/bridge closures, what will happen to the homeless etc. All that stuff aside, there seems to have been a lot more Olympic based images cropping up around Vancouver. These are some torch lights that they've put on Kingsway. The hazy purple/green colourdee bits are reflections from the lights on either side.
They just seemed be there one day, but I have been assured that they were there all along, but with normal lanterns. Obviously my observation skills are second to none.
