Emily's Beauty Salon is run by Emily. She's an older lady who owns a seriously old school business. The interior is a throwback from the fifties, replete with fake flowers, old dolls, red leather swivel seats.. you get the picture. The best thing about Emily's is her window displays. She does them for all holidays.. Christmas/ Halloween/ Easter, nothing escapes her attention. This month it's Mother's Day in Canada.
The table set for two reads "Happy Mother's Day (no cooking), Do something nice for Mom, Give Mom a Bear hug and take Mom out for dinner". Although I'm not sure how much Mom would feel like eating after being given a bear hug. I would love to sit in Emily's chair and listen to her endless stories, but I fear I would leave with a bodywave and blue rinse...
