Waterford Trekkin

I am currently listening to their new album.. I fear I may become obsessed by it, listen to it at a high level of repetitiveness, grow sick of it, ruin it for myself.. I have done this to a large number of albums. I think it began with Radiohead's "The Bends". I wish I could show more restraint when it came to music..

Tonight we went for a walk on the seawall. We took a little break on one of the logs overlooking the shore, and were serenaded by the PARTYBOAT pulling in.. they were pumping out the old school hits.. Salt n Pepa, Blackstreet, Skee-lo, Montell Jordan.. I wanted to swim out and join them..

City Hall

This is Vancouver's City Hall.. I pretty much love this building. It never fails but reminds me of this... well except for the flag.

Today I have borrowed a picture which Oscar took outside our apartment at lunchtime. There are 2 clothing bins outside our place. One of them gives its proceeds to the Diabetes Foundation... this is the one where the "ladies" of the night/crackheads pull out the clothes and try them on. The stuff is obviously a hot commodity, because now they've set up their own buy and sell posting on the side of it. I like the part about the 3/2 inch heel.

Once, just as I was heading to bed, I saw a woman shimmy her way into the bin. I waited for about 10 minutes to see if she'd come back out.

She didn't.

I went to bed.
